"Where You At??!!"

(Best Times To Find Other Pups At The Park.)

It's important for dogs to socialize.  To run, play and sniff with other canines.  Just being around other dogs gives our pups something to dream about at night.  The Cotati Park is a great place for dogs to play.  There is the Great Lawn with plenty of room to run.  And the enclosed Park has water and is a safer place to play.  When a group of dogs visit the Park at the same time it's more than wonderful, it's magic.  However, more often than not, you will find it is just you and your pup in the middle of a big empty.  Sometimes as you arrive someone else is just leaving, or vise versa.   We can change this. 


What is needed from all dog owners who use the Park is an idea of when you like to visit during the week days and weekends.  Do you come in the morning or afternoon, or evening.  Do you come more than once a day, and what times. How flexible is your time.


This is what's needed from you:


Week Days:  What time, or times, are you at the Park?  Are your times flexible?

Weekends:   What time(s) do you come and are they flexible?

Also, does the weather dictate your use.  For example, hot days you will arrive earlier in the morning and later in the evening.

A 7 Day Calendar will be posted here and at the Park with the times you can expect others to use the Park.  Again, socializing is so very important for our pups.  Please help by sending your days and times.  And, ask others to contribute their use time, as well.






"Chairs for the Enclosed Dog Park"

The enclosed Dog Park is a great place for both dog and human.  Plenty of room to romp and run.  Water, shade, and...well, two cement benches.


It would be nice to have a few chairs to put near the benches, or to move to the shade.  I am hopeful some of you might have a used chair or two to donate.  The more "used" looking the better.  Less likely someone will walk off with it.  So, look around your yard, or your neighbor's yard and see what can be contributed.  And if you do have chairs be sure to write "Cotati Dog Park" on them, just in case they might wander off.


An Update On Chairs:  Some good, very good, person has donated four chairs to the Park!  Thank you so very much!  And if others of you have a chair or two to pass to the Park, please do so.




"Forums" Ain't Just for Romans Anymore.

"Forums" is the place to express ideas to improve the Park.  To offer information about events for dogs.  Or, to ask health questions or to seek recommendations.    Perhaps you know of places to take a dog for a hike.  Maybe there is another dog park you like or suggest staying away from.  If there is something you would like to ask or discuss use "Forums." (You must be a member to use "Forums" and to upload photos.)
